NomadHer Madeira Digital Nomad Camp is back with more upgrades, now offering 7 business programs! Last summer, 6 women from different countries – South Korea, France, Belgium, and China – flew to Madeira island to participate in the NomadHer Madeira Digital Nomad Camp . These women are all leaders who have pursued their life goals with strong minds and independence and come from diverse backgrounds such as modeling, design, engineering, banking, yoga teaching, and more. This diversity added a vibrant vibe to the camp, enabling participants to share and explore each other’s unique stories and learn from various experiences.
All participants gathered in the camp for one key reason: to recharge their energy through travel and start their next step in career development with the support of like-minded women from different sectors.
NomadHer, Empower women through travel
NomadHer aims to empower women through travel, and therefore, organized well-structured tour programs for women. In partnership with local female guides, such as a surfer, a yoga teacher, and a tour guide, NomadHer has supported women in the tourism industry of Madeira and made a women-friendly atmosphere for participants.
The 2022 program offered three different concepts: Awaken your mind and body with sunrise yoga on the beach, Feel the grandeur of nature with a private road tour of the west island, and Enjoy the sea of Madeira through surfing and whale boat tours.
Share various life stories and learn from like-mind women
In the evenings, participants enjoyed dinner together, sharing their life stories and learning from like-minded women. Each person’s story highlighted their struggles and how they overcame them, creating a sense of connectedness and community.
Enough me time
Participants also had plenty of free time to explore on their own, visiting local events, markets, and parks, and enjoying moments of peace and solitude.
