NOMAD VILLAGE: PONTA DO SOL
This is where the story began…
From February 1st of 2021, Ponta do Sol became internationally known as the birthplace of the Digital Nomads Madeira Islands project as the Nomad Village > a place to mingle, work, and network with digital nomads, remote workers & the local community.
Ponta do Sol – The Nomad Village is still active, with a free working space, events, access to the community and all of its natural beauty.

It's All About People...
Since the beginning of our project, the working space @ Ponta do Sol – Nomad Village, has welcomed more than 10.000 people (officially).
Digital nomads, remote workers, expats and local people have the opportunity to not only work using the facilities, but as well as mingle with like-minded people and partake in talks & workshops.
What about leisure & wellbeing? Absolutely! Our community cares deeply for their non-working-hours, and so they enjoy mindfulness exercises, yoga, and Tai Chi.
…. always ending up with a drink at your favorite local café while appreciating the breathtaking sunset.
Community Lunch & Events
Ponta do Sol has an active remote-working community, with regular community lunches, every wednesday. To be part of it, just complete your registration so you can have access to post of each lunch, including your confirmation of participation, restaurant and menu of each week.

💜 Purple Friday
Purple Friday is one of Ponta do Sol’s longest-running community events. Every Friday, the community meets at Estalagem da Ponta do Sol for an evening with a DJ, music and drinks. It’s a relaxed weekly meeting point for remote workers, digital nomads, locals and international residents, and a great opportunity to meet new people and network in an informal setting.
